Upon arrival, the bank manager was informed of Marco's situation and was empathetic to his challenges. She arranged for a note to be added to his file, allowing him to replace his bank card without ID if needed in the future. She also made herself available as a point of contact in case of any confusion or hesitation from the front desk staff.
This interaction was impactful, allowing Marco to regain a sense of autonomy. It significantly empowered him by providing an easier and more self-sufficient way to manage his banking needs, reducing his dependence on support workers.
