Escaping an abusive situation
While doing proactive patrolling, HELP was approached by Mary, who was seeking assistance fleeing from her abusive partner. Lucas reconnects with his family
DMU (Detainee Management Unit) HELP met with Lucas, who is living with learning disabilities combined with ODD, ADHD, bipolar disorder & schizophrenia. Looking for Shelter
Camped beside the Grant MacEwan transit station, HELP met Emily while doing proactive community support. Spending her days at the Stanley Milner library, then passing through Grant MacEwan, and finally camping outside the Grant MacEwan transit station once all the public facilities are closed, Emily was able to inform the HELP team of her whereabouts to stay connected. Mother terrified of losing son to drugs
