Cherie and Lyle's Story

The Northeast HELP team received a call to assist the Edmonton Police at an encampment. When HELP approached the scene, they met Cherie and her partner Lyle. After discussing their situation, the couple mentioned they were experiencing homelessness. The team transported them to the Navigation Centre to access additional resources and supports.

Recently, the Northeast HELP team ran into Cherie and Lyle. They were both excited to share that their housing workers contacted them, and they were going to view a place that same day.  HELP offered them some food and will continue to check in with them to ensure continued access to supports and resources.
